1. Who we are
AJMI Smart Technology is the trading identity used by Ajmi Bin Ghalib Lahiq Al Mutairi Est. (مؤسسة عجمي غالب لاحق المطيري للمقاولات العامة), Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. For the processing described in this policy, AJMI acts as the personal-data controller.
2. Personal data we may collect
Depending on how you contact us, we may collect:
- Name, mobile or WhatsApp number, email address and preferred language.
- Company or property name, project city, facility type and project requirements.
- Messages exchanged through website forms, AJMI AI, WhatsApp, email or support channels.
- Drawings, channel lists, photographs or technical files you voluntarily provide.
- Consent records, page title or URL, submission time, basic security logs and a limited or hashed network identifier where needed to prevent abuse.
- Identifiers and message information supplied through Meta or WhatsApp integrations when those services are enabled.
We do not ask you to submit passwords, payment-card details, national identification or sensitive personal data through the public AI conversation.
3. How we collect data
We collect data directly from you when you submit an enquiry, register before an AJMI AI conversation, contact us through WhatsApp or email, request a proposal, send a technical document or communicate with our team. Limited technical data may be generated automatically for security, delivery and troubleshooting.
4. Why we process personal data
We process personal data to answer enquiries; understand technical requirements; prepare site surveys, estimates or professional proposals; arrange sales or engineering follow-up; provide installation, support or AMC services; maintain conversation and customer records; send requested acknowledgements; prevent misuse; comply with legal duties; and improve service quality.
AJMI AI may assist with answering and organising an enquiry. It does not issue an approved final price or create a binding commercial commitment without AJMI team approval.
5. Legal basis and consent
Processing is based on your consent, steps requested before entering a contract, performance of an agreed service, compliance with applicable law, or AJMI's legitimate operational and security interests where permitted. You may withdraw consent for consent-based processing, but this does not affect lawful processing already completed or information that must be retained for legal or contractual reasons.
6. Sharing and service providers
Personal data is accessible only to authorised AJMI personnel and service providers that need it for hosting, secure storage, business email, communications, cybersecurity, technical support or approved AI processing. We may also disclose information where required by Saudi law, a competent authority or to protect legal rights and safety. We do not sell personal data.
WhatsApp, Meta and external websites operate under their own privacy terms. Where processing or storage involves another country, AJMI will apply the requirements and safeguards required by the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law and its implementing regulations.
7. Retention and secure destruction
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the enquiry, proposal, service, support, audit, dispute or legal purpose for which it was collected. Retention periods may differ for active customers, contracts, invoices, warranties and statutory records. When data is no longer required, it is deleted, securely destroyed or irreversibly anonymised.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request to know how your data is processed, access it, receive a copy, correct incomplete or inaccurate data, request deletion or destruction, and withdraw consent. You may also raise a complaint with AJMI or the competent Saudi data-protection authority. We may verify identity before acting on a request to protect your information.
9. Security
AJMI applies reasonable administrative, technical and organisational measures such as restricted access, secure credentials, encrypted connections, protected local or hosted storage, monitoring and backups. No internet service can guarantee absolute security; please avoid sending unnecessary confidential or sensitive information through public channels.
10. Cookies, links and communications
The website may use essential technical storage required for language, security or service operation. If analytics or non-essential cookies are introduced, the relevant notice and consent controls will be updated. Links to WhatsApp, Meta or other third-party services are governed by those providers. Service acknowledgements and replies relate to your enquiry; promotional communications will be sent only where legally permitted.
11. Children
AJMI's website and technical services are intended for business and project enquiries and are not directed to children. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided personal data should contact us for review and deletion.
12. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when services, integrations or legal requirements change. The current version and date will remain published here. Privacy requests may be sent to ajmi@ajmisa.com or by phone/WhatsApp at +966 55 301 1362.
